Mother and daughter team, Sandy Richards and Kate Watt established Absolute Care at Home in 2005. Their vision of a service delivering not just a high but excellent standard of care for the elderly and the infirm in their own homes, was recognised in 2009 when they were awarded the highest possible rating by the Care Quality Commission; 3 Stars and Excellent.
And now two years on Absolute Care at Home continues this level of excellence following a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission in November 2011 and were found to be meeting all outcomes; see out latest inspection report on www.cqc.org.uk.
Sandy says, “ Our guiding principles have not changed, putting people first and giving them a care support service that doesn’t just meet their needs but takes into account their wishes and their views on how they want their care to be delivered, is our paramount aim”.
We are committed to the principles of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and to the delivery of care support with Dignity.
Our staff are trained in line with CQC (Care Quality Commission) registration. They follow the General Social Care Council’s (GSCC) Code of Practice (Link to GSCC Codes of Practice for Employees)
We still stand by the care values we started with;
